Trillium
Is one of the most versatile and talented duos. Paul Kinnear and Patricia Drain have a way of performing songs from jazz, pop, country, Latin music, and rock in their own individual style.
They have a long-standing tradition of sparse arrangements featuring Paul’s extraordinary virtuosity on guitar and Patricia’s rich vocal and guitar stylings.
Patricia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish literature from Penn State University. Because of her ability to speak Spanish as well as Portuguese the duo has added Latin and Bossa Nova to their repertoire. Patricia also graduated Berklee College of Music.
Paul graduated Berklee College of Music with a degree in guitar performance.
They have performed in many venues and Music Festivals where they shared billing with George Benson, The Temptations, Diane Schuur, The Count Basie Orchestra among others. They have traveled widely throughout the country.
Trillium has been described as “original, one of a kind, and vibrant”.
